I’m not sure if I pushed myself a little too hard on the revisions yesterday (several HOURS of writing), or maybe I got a little too much sun while swimming — I ended up feeling pretty sick in the evening, so I gave up on working and just tucked myself up in bed to catch
Made good progress on the novel revision this afternoon, to the end of Part Three, close to 60,000 words in. Sent it off to beta readers. After that, had some snacks (the hummus is very good here, I suspect in part because they load it up with feta cheese), did some swimming, drinking, and reading
Writing day is progressing reasonably well except for one super-annoying thing, which I will get to in a moment. Woke up at 6, took an hour to relax into the day, watch a little West Wing (it’s my comfort TV). By 7 the sun was coming up, and I was working, catching up on ICFA
