Sigh. It turns out that YouTube has a 15 minute limit on videos you upload, unless you verify your account. I have now done so (took 30 seconds), but apparently I now have to re-upload the teaching video I uploaded this morning. Sigh. Tech!

I am amused that a squirrel is jumping around in the background of this little 3-minute video I did for my students, explaining why we’re using Slack. I hesitated to give them another tech to learn in addition to Blackboard, but I decided it would help the course quite a lot; hopefully I was right!
Oh, yes, we must factor in the time to UPLOAD all these videos we make, esp. if uploading to multiple locations. Okay, okay. At least I can set it to uploading and then go weed a little…. My tentative plan for asynchronous teaching weekdays is: • 7 – 10 a.m. reserved for writing this fall
