Sunda

Brunch with friends at ChiCon — we walked to a ‘New Asian’ place in River North. Many restaurant options near WorldCon, good — finding seating at a nicer place without a reservation, slightly challenging.

But this ended up being a tasty option — I particularly liked the sliced open bao with fried chicken between the top and bottom. Delicious! (There’s a crispy eggplant version too.)

Also interesting and tasty, the cold poached shrimp on the crispy-spicy brussels sprouts, the ube French toast, the Grass Tiger cocktail: jalapeño infused roku gin, lemongrass, lime, orange, ginger beer, fresh spanked mint.
