RWA Nashville Retreat Notes: More waterfalls

Falling water good. You could spend a lot of time here just walking around and looking at plants; nice option for exercise while attending a conference. I like how they’ve built walkways, so you can experience the space at different levels. They have occasional informational signs too, telling you what a ‘teddy bear palm’ is, for instance.

Not much like a serious conservatory once you start paying more attention, but a pleasant environment. Look at those angel’s trumpet’s vine flowers in the second photo! Now I want to add those and a waterfall to my garden… (I don’t have room. I know, I know…)

Southern colonial architecture gives me the heebie-jeebies, though. I wanted to love “The Library,” which is a great name for a steakhouse, but I also kind of didn’t want to enter the building. Is it possible for an entire style of architecture to be tainted by association? Apparently in my head, it is.
