We were going to try to stay off devices for this trip — we didn’t leave them all home, but I didn’t pack my laptop, which felt a little traumatic, honestly — I can’t remember the last time I travelled without my laptop. I mean literally, it’s been years and years.
Always working….but not the last 24 hrs, so there.
I did bring paper and markers and a drawing book and a coloring book, and the kids actually did spend an hour or so drawing, so yay me for thinking to pack them. (They have a little set of four crayons and tiny activity book on site, but that’s more geared towards little kids, the kind of thing you’d get at a restaurant.)
