Kalanchoe. It's funny -- this plant hasn't bloomed in years, so long that I'd forgotten what colors the flowers were. I'd bought it as a fist-size little three dollar plant at the hardware store, years ago, and it bloomed, and then it finished blooming, and then I figured it would be a green houseplant going forward. It grew, and grew, and then a child knocked it down and most of it broke off, but I kept watering it, and it grew again, and now it's bigger than my head, and so happy that it's suddenly decided to bloom again. A nice surprise. Sometimes, when you nurture something, you get back more than you bargained for. :-)
