Packing for five days at…

Packing for five days at my parents' and I am, unsurprisingly, having trouble deciding what books to take. In the grim war-related to-read stack I have Pat Barker's _Regeneration_, Michael Herr's _Dispatches_, and Ishmael Beah's _A Long Way Gone_. Also The Norton Anthoogy of American Literature: Beginnings to 1820, which is homework for fall semester; I must put together my syllabus. All books I want to read; all books I should read. But what do I actually want to pack, at least for the flight? A nice cozy mystery or romance.

The hilarious thing about the entire dilemma is that I seem to think I'm actually going to have time to read while herding two small children by myself.
