I have to take a moment…

I have to take a moment here to plug the SweetPea3. It's an MP3 player designed for kids, and was Kavi's main Christmas present from us this year. She really loves it, in a quiet sort of way. It goes to sleep with her every night, and she seems to find it comforting to have it there, even if she doesn't always turn it on. And when she does turn it on, it's loaded with a playlist of me singing lullabies to her. Or non-lullabies, sung in a lullaby-like manner. It's helping with bedtime, so if any of you are having trouble along those lines, recommended. (Also helping with her being sick today; even though I'm wandering around the house doing chores, she feels more as if I'm with her in the room, I think, when she has it playing.)

Kev had suggested an iPod Touch, which for not much more in price, can do a lot more. But the SweetPea is very sturdy, and I feel much more comfortable with it for small kids who tend to drop / break things. There's a dance playlist too, of more bouncy songs, for when Kavi and Anand want to dance. :-)
