Kev had suggested an iPod Touch, which for not much more in price, can do a lot more. But the SweetPea is very sturdy, and I feel much more comfortable with it for small kids who tend to drop / break things. There's a dance playlist too, of more bouncy songs, for when Kavi and Anand want to dance. :-)
Here's what I sung on the lullaby list.
- Twinkle Twinkle
- Hush Little Baby
- Kaviarasi (Chinna Thambi, Frere Jacques, Are You Sleeping)
- Close Your Eyes
- In the Jungle (The Lion Sleeps Tonight)
- Somewhere Over the Rainbow
- Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose
- My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean
- Row, Row, Row Your Boat
- Lullaby and Goodnight (Brahms' Lullaby)
- Rock a Bye Baby
- Summertime
- Puff the Magic Dragon
- House at Pooh Corner
- Our House (is a Very Very Very Fine House)
- Swing Low, Sweet Chariot
- Wish You Goodnight (John McCutcheon)
- Evermore (Alison Krauss)
- Dragonfire
- The Book of Love
- Storybook Love
Where are you seeing an iPod Touch for not much more than $70? I haven’t looked hard, but Amazon and Apple both have the low-end model at over $200…
