I'm excited to go -- our budget isn't allowing for nearly as much convention travel as I would like this year and next, sadly. I'll be at AWP (where I'm presenting) (associated writing programs conference, Washington D.C. Feb 2-5) and WisCon (feminist sf convention, Madison, WI, May 26-30), and possibly at SALA (S. Asian Lit conference, L.A. Jan 7 & 8), but I think that's it.
If the budget loosens at all, I might try to add either FogCon (San Francisco, March 11-13) or Potlatch (Sunnyvale, March 4-6), and squeeze in a visit with Jedediah. Sort of a shame that those conventions are so close to each other time-wise -- I don't think there's any way I could make both, given teaching / childcare, even if funds weren't an issue.
