Small Beer is having the last day of its
October at least 25% off sale, and I just bought *two* sets of everything they published in 2008 for $63 each. One set for me, because I know I will almost certainly love all the books included, as I have loved almost everything else they've published, and one set which I will break up and give away as Christmas presents.
I'm particularly excited by the Joan Aiken Serial Garden, a complete collection of the delightfully wacky Armitage family stories, including four new ones -- a must for any child in your life, or the kid in your own heart. Plus, 20% of the proceeds of the sale get donated to Obama's campaign. Woohoo!
