Packing and Milton, Milton and packing. Lucifer's made it to Eden at the end of Book 4, after a really touching soliloquy where he regrets losing Heaven. All the heavenly angels are really annoying stiffs. Adam and Eve have spent several pages talking mostly about how he does what God tells him to, and she does what Adam tells her to, and how they're both so happy with this arrangement. She's so meek and agreeable that my stomach actually churns. Yuck. Ick. How did women put up with this? How did they convince themselves they believed it???
