I’ve decided that I must…

I've decided that I must be the only person in the world up at 7 on a Saturday, 'cause no one (but no one!) is sending me e-mail yet. I've been sending lots, though. They'll have to face it soon enough. :-)

So we've gotten about 50 entries for the NAMING CONTEST! Keep them coming, please! And remember, the name doesn't need to be specifically sf/f -- it can simply be evocative, appropriate, interesting...

Having a quiet morning here; talked to my folks, did some dishes, ironed a shirt to wear today (have to look moderately spiffy/professional when I'm panelling...well, maybe I don't, but it helps to counteract how young I look :-). Sent out lots of e-mail. :-) In a really good mood, for no other real reason except that I did lots of work last week and the sun is shining and I get to meet Charles de Lint today! (Or if I don't, I'll meet him next week, 'cause he's Guest of Honor at WisCon too...) He's one of my heroes; his stories make me want to write.

I've pretty much decided which printer to buy, by the way -- a Canon machine. If you know of any problems with this machine, please let me know ASAP...I'm so excited. Scanning from home! So, do you guys want more photos in this journal, or do you prefer having it load quickly with just text? Let me know!.

Okay, there are clearly too many exclamation points above, and I am too excited. I should take a break from this, get dressed, and then finish reading Vikram Seth's An Equal Music (which is just beautiful, though I suspect the ending is going to be painful. I can't see any good way for this to end. It's like waiting for a train wreck. Meep. It does make me want to practice, though. Hmm...maybe I should practice first.

Talk to you later, munchkins...
