Ala Moana hotel (Honolulu) was nice to stay at; easy to walk to the Magic Island beach and the Ala Moana park, with a giant (fairly high-end) mall right next door. For a business traveller, who might want to pick up, say, a pair of shoes that aren’t grotty old sneakers that she only packed for ankle support she no longer needs, it was very convenient.
