George R.R. Martin was in town, so Roshani Anandappa and I went into the city to have dinner with him and his assistant Sid Khalsa in Greektown. (Opa!)
Fun as always, hanging out with them. (George is one of my editors on the Wild Cards series, in case you’re wondering how I know him. He’s a really good editor. If you want to check out Wild Cards, I joined the series with Fort Freak, which is a good entry point for the series.)
George seems pretty happy with how House of the Dragon is going, so that’s nice. 
I’d tell you about the rest of the conversation, but much of it was either proprietary or salacious, so we shall leave it shrouded in the mists…
