I had a supplemental board-related meeting at OPRF at 3:30 yesterday, except that it got cancelled and rescheduled for next week, so I ended up with some free time there, and I’d offered Kavi a ride home from school, sparing her a 30-minute walk home in close to 90F weather, so I collected her.
Then we walked by some student art, and I asked if she had any on the walls, and she said there was some up by her art class a floor up, so we went up, and she showed me, and I was blown away. Kavi is only almost-15! She is so good! I know I’m her mama, so I’m biased, but seriously, folks.
I told her I wanted to put this character in a story, and she said that would be fine.
