D.C. trip: Pizza with with Sharms and the kids, a very nice appetizer (goat cheese on toast with prosciutto, sundried-tomatoes, and basil — simple and delicious), the kids having an after-school snack (did I try to win my niblings’ hearts with cheddar popcorn? shh…), and some very pretty flowering tree — D.C. is in full-on spring mode, with daffodils and hyacinths and flowering trees everywhere. A solid month ahead of us, I think.
Not sure what tree this is — quince, maybe? I’m just guessing here!
