Writing workshop is done, and overall, they mostly had little tweaks, and seem to continue to really like the direction the book is going. Yay! I am going to go crawl into bed now and finish the Tremontaine edits. I am so close to done, I can taste it. Just tweak a few more sentences here and there, I think…
Tomorrow, I go on a zoo field trip with Anand, and then help with a garden station for Kavi’s end-of-year class party, so it is basically all-kids, all-day. Which I think is good; I could use a break from thinking about writing. And then Friday morning, I catch up on e-mail, Jaggery, and SLF stuff.
And then I dive into writing the novel, as I attempt to draft 40,000 words or so in two weeks, to make my June 15 deadline. This should be…entertaining? We’ll see.
