Daffydowndillies.

This is a sampling from what White Flower Farm calls “The Works” — if you have an area you’d like filled with daffodils, you can just dig a big trench, toss the bulbs in, and cover them up again. They’ll come back gloriously, year after year.

Now, you need to be okay with leaving the yellowing leaves, because that’s how they get energy for the next year, so if that kind of unsightliness really bothers you, big banks of daffodils may not be for you. But I loves them. Even though yellow is my least favorite color. I will accept it in daffodils.  🙂
