Children are fast…
Children are fast asleep, trifle is halfway done and chilling, pol sambol is finished, eggs boiled for deviling and chili-ing tomorrow, seeni sambol is halfway done, I've shared good luck New Year's Eve soba noodles with Kat, and now Kevin and I have tucked ourselves into bed with hop-flavored hard cider (which, amazingly, I rather like, despite my heretofore avid distaste for beer) to watch an episode of Parenthood and hopefully nod off before midnight.
