Wrote a little over a thousand words in two hours on a short story tentatively titled "Communion," something of an epilogue . That's slow for me, but there was some revision beforehand and getting back into the story. Am still not sure if I like this story -- it's not one of the ones that just comes down like an incandescent gift from the gods, but rather one that is needing to be dragged into the light, piece by piece. But I'm almost done with the first draft, which is something. It's due to writing workshop next Wednesday; I'm hoping I can finish a draft today, and then maybe revise it a bit next week before sending it to workshop.
