Off to teach creative…

Off to teach creative writing -- Le Guin's _Steering the Craft_, Chapters 1 & 2. (The Sound of Your Writing and Punctuation). I do love these early weeks, when we bring the focus back down to the sentence level. It's as useful for me as for my students, I think, to have these periodic reminders. Sometimes I get too 'big picture' and forget that a large part of why I fell in love with literature had to do with specific language. A rose is a rose is a rose. :-)
