Mother-daughter selfies. Kavya's was taken on the plane, as she amused herself with my phone. Mine was taken moments ago, and is a fairly typical view of me in early morning, post-first-cup-of-tea. You wouldn't want to see me before my tea. I'm posing with a new amaryllis; I think this variety is "Sweet Nymph" and it's quite charming. It's the first one to bloom; with the last paperwhites still going strong, I'm looking forward to a floriferous January to come.
