Just found out that our structural permit application hasn't even been assigned to anyone yet for review. It's now six weeks since we submitted it (and we were originally told that it normally takes 3-6 weeks for approval). Deeply frustrating. I could cry, or scream, or punch something.

Why is nothing about this move to Oak Park easy?? Are the gods trying to tell us something? It's too damn late, if so.

Back to grading. Sigh. Argh. At least their final papers are (mostly) good. They clearly learned some stuff this semester, which makes me feel like I've accomplished something in the last few months!
