Then ran around shoving things in closets -- I spent something like eight hours unpacking yesterday, and I almost, almost finished, but not quite. So the last few boxes and clothes and such got stuffed into closets, so that the rooms were clear enough for the painters. They're here now, painting away. Exciting. Nerve-wracking. I hope we chose good colors.
And then, halfway through reading journals, I got a note from Deborah Biancotti which finally prompted me to write the e-mails I needed to write to sort out the SLF membership renewal situation -- or start sorting it out. We've gotten horribly behind, but I think we're going to be able to fix things without too much angst. Hope so, anyway. We'll see how it goes. It's a relief to have the work in progress at last, though. A nagging weight off my mind.
Now go out, run some errands, get some lunch, come back, work more.
