So far, all I've managed to do is chat with Jed, watch some sit-coms, and read a photography composition book, refreshing my memory on basic composition/design concepts, like the Rule of Thirds, the golden hour of light, colors which approach or recede, filling the frame, etc. I'm hoping to take lots of photographs in Sri Lanka, and I want to maximize my chances of getting good ones. What I'd really like to do is take a good photography class -- maybe in the fall, if they offer one at Roosevelt that I can take for free. :-)
Next, more tv, I think, and then a photojournalism book. A little laundry and maybe a bit of exercise later. Quiet, quiet day. I leave for California/Vancouver at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow.
