Quiet day yesterday, running errands mostly. Groceries, paperwork, that sort of thing. I dropped off a few pieces of art to be framed by people who know what they're doing, and then I went to Pearl and picked up some do-it-yourself silver frames for some photos I wanted to put up, along with some new matting. Now some of the stuff on my walls is matted and looks nicer. I'm so boring and traditional sometimes. :-) I know that when I was in college, I had no aesthetic sense that a matted framed piece of art looked better than a poster taped to your wall. When did that change?
Today I have a couple of hours to deal with paperwork, then I'm going to try to go to the cafe to write for a while. We'll see if it works. In the meantime, here are a few more photos from the Napa trip, this time taken by me.
