I’m talking to my dad…

I'm talking to my dad about Sri Lankan Tamil names for the book, and it turns out that I really should have talked to him a long time ago -- many of the names I found (from Tamil baby name websites) are way too modern for some of my characters. I'm particularly distressed to find out that Medha, from "Seven Cups of Water", just wouldn't have had that name in that time period. I hate to change a name that's already been published as something else, but I think it's probably more important to get everything right for the book... Going to be a bit disconcerting for readers, though. :-(
