Texts to do quick notes for now: Said's Orientalism, Manor's Sri Lanka in Change and Crisis, Fanon's The Wretched of the Earth. Then read the Clifford. Then notes on the Gates anthology (which will take a while, due to the many different essays in it), then Anzaldua's Borderlands/La Frontera. Then I'll actually be solidly caught up through Bhabha, and I can read him with an easy mind. If I get to him today, great, but it doesn't seem so likely now, since I still need to get to the gym and the store at some point. We'll see.
