I returned from the dentist to find that the power was out in my entire apartment. Flipping the circuit breakers did nothing. Calling the management company was useless. But a kindly soul in 4F directed me to the main circuit breakers for the floor, where I discovered that indeed, the one for my apartment had flipped. No idea why, but the power's back, I was able to read my comments (!), I have new shoes from Payless (cute little dark red Mary Jane's, to console me for two and a half hours at the dentist and a numb mouth that is already turning sore), so really, I'm relatively happy.
And I get to (quickly) re-read Idylls of the King now for my exams, so I figure I'm just a lucky girl, despite teeth and electricity attempting to conspire against me...
Dan Percival has taken Percival, btw, and Heather has signed up for the Lady of the Lake, and Shmuel has Uther and Igraine -- yay! Still plenty of characters left, though...get 'em while they're hot...
