Back to editing. And Tiptree-reading. And dish-washing, now that we're no longer out of detergent. About four more loads should do it, I think. Such is my life at the moment. It's not a bad one, even if it is a bit repetitive. :-)

This week's (1/27/03) New Yorker has a good sf story in it by George Saunders, "Jon". It's a little confusing at first, but stick with it -- all becomes reasonably clear. Basically a near-future advertising satire; Todd, I don't know if you'd like the story, but I think you'd like the sensibility a great deal.
