All of that was pleasant and not too surprising. What *is* surprising is that I'm feeling this strange craving to start building a roman blind for our bedroom closet door. I don't understand it, especially since I can't buy the fabric until tomorrow, so I really can't accomplish much of anything tonight. Nonetheless, I'm going to go out, hop on a bus or two, and go to the 24-hr Home Depot to pick up the following:
- big stapler to go through wood
- staples
- drill (with 1/8" drill bit)
- 1x1 mounting board, 47 3/4 in. long
- 3 pan-head screws
- angle irons, shorter than projection of mounting board
- flat-head wood screws
- two screw eyes
- two lengths of shade cord, each cord long enough to run up the shade, along the top, and partway down the side (170 in. each)
- 1/2" plastic rings, two rings for every 6" of shade length (26 rings)
- one 1/2" flat weight bar, cut 1/2" shorter than finished width of shade (47 3/4 in.)
- awning cleat
