It’s been a massive…

It's been a massive market morning. Sent out "A Gentle Man" to Esquire (I managed to find some guidelines that appear open...we'll see), "Twern, the Gardener" to Asimov's, and "'Amanda' Means Love" to Interzone. I'm a little dubious about all of these, but what the heck. We'll try them and see. I now have eleven stories in circulation. It's not quite Tim Pratt levels, but probably more than I've ever had out at once before. The question is -- should all of them actually be out? But it'd take a wiser mind than mine to answer that...

My fingers are starting to hurt after all the HTML editing; I think I'd best take a break. Unfortunately, my two other tasks for this morning/afternoon are typing ones -- adding one more section to Kathryn in the City, so the proposal gets to the sexy bits, and editing the POD SH book. I guess I'll read for a while -- see how much further I get in Web of Angels, read the two stories for workshop tonight. Then I'll come back to the computer. Sounds like a plan, yes?

(Still want to pack. Resisting urge to start putting winter clothes in boxes. Helps that I don't have boxes yet. Think I may spend an hour or two at least going through some of those clothes and deciding whch ones I'll never wear again. I do this periodically, yet somehow I always have too many clothes. And then there's the idea of putting all the size 8 clothes away in a box so they don't taunt me -- I like some of them a lot, enough that I don't want to just give them away, but it'll probably be at least a few more months 'til size 8, even assuming it'll actually happen...)
