I feel like I’ve been…

I feel like I've been running around like a crazy person for months, and gotten really disconnected from you guys. Have I gotten boring? I miss the conversations we used to have. What's going on with y'all? What are the good (or bad) things in your lives these days? How's life?

We never just *talk* anymore. (I feel like a whiny girlfriend... :-)

  1. Of course, it’s patrly because we’re busy reading Bodies in Motion, and have less time to comment:-)

I seriously considered catching a train to NYC while you were there to hear you read, but there is too much pre-semester stuff going on. I have been to Puebla, Mexico for a topology conference, but have not even managed to visit my mother this summer. I shall do so Labor Day weekend, after classes start, which means I won’t be able to keep up with your journal for a few days. My mother is not online and the local library has your site blocked because of alleged obscene content. They offer an option to try to get this changed. Do you want me to try to do that? I am really looking forward to the East Coast LovingMore Conference, in a week. Wish you and Kevin were going to be there

I’ll quit before I write more than you really wanted to read. Wishing you a GREAT fall semester at Roosevelt(sp?) this fall.

  2. You know we think you’re wonderful, and wonder how you manage to keep up with things so well… and, as is becoming traditional, I managed to be late for your birthday.

Surely this is a terrible thing for any vassal of king Mary Anne.

    Happy late birthday,

    Jim

  3. so sorry! you see, i have been reading this wonderful book on my BART ride in to the office. this *wonderful* book of stories that makes me a little juicy and a little daydreamy when i hop off my train.

thank you so for _Bodies in Motion_ and a delicious week of reading. 🙂

Aw, it’s so nice y’all are reading my book. And no worries for the late birthday wishes, Jim — I think I actually almost missed my birthday myself this year. Too much else going on. 🙂

I still don’t really know what’s happening with anyone other than David, though. How’s life?

I think I’m tired of being as self-obsessed as I’ve been this past year. Enough enough enough.
