Sadly, the place we saw…

Sadly, the place we saw yesterday was just too dark -- quite dismal, actually. A shame, because it was an awesome space, with these gorgeous old stone support pillars running through it; if it had had light, you could create something gorgeous there. Ah well. We're going to give it about one more week of looking, I think, try out the Lincoln Park area, and check back in Wicker Park/Bucktown.

In book news, I'm most of the way through revisions to Part III, but I think I need to generate about 2-3 more scenes -- and, to do this right, I actually think I need to go back to the beginning and read it all again. Not sure I have the energy, but I think this is the right point to do it at, a little more than halfway through this draft. Make sure it all hangs together up until this point, before going forward. Still hoping to have a draft done by mid-March. We'll see what happens.

Also in mid-March, I'm now considering going to the East Coast for a few days. Kevin's going to be there doing some math over his spring break, so we're thinking we might both be in New York for a few days, then go visit my parents for a day. I'm going to try to meet up with all the editor-type folk, plus it looks like I may be on TV. :-) In a minor sort of way, but hey, it's my target audience, so if it happens, would be very cool. Will keep you posted.
