Karen’s reading The…

Karen's reading The Summer Tree now, by Kay. She's liking it, and I'm glad, since I bought it for her. But I'm not sure if I warned her that there's a terrible cliff-hanger at the end of the book...

Roshani came by today -- we went down to Hyde Park, had chai and samosas at the Reynolds Club and worked for a while there. Then swung by the Oriental Institute, just 'cause she hadn't been there in a while. Came back here, made a pot of tea, and now she's reading and I'm going back to work. Almost done with path c. Just a to go. Not sure if it'll get done today, but it'll definitely be done by lunchtime tomorrow. So say I.

Have added about 7,000 words so far in the process of this week's revisions. More today and tomorrow -- I'm current expecting this to clock in around 55,000 (Kathryn ended up being 62,000). We'll see.
