As the unpacking continues, and the finalizing of details, the kitchen gets closer and closer to what I'd originally envisioned. We still have stained glass to buy (sigh) and have installed, and anaglypta to paint (and possibly to run all the way up the wall?), but otherwise, the kitchen is pretty much done. And I like it.
This version is what I'm calling my Austen kitchen, because it is bedecked with Austenian dishtowels and mugs, all from Brookish on Etsy.
