The Sept. 30 deadline…
The Sept. 30 deadline for the Speculative Literature Foundation's Gulliver Travel Grant is fast approaching! The grant of $800 is awarded to assist writers of speculative fiction in their research, and is to be used to cover airfare, lodging, and/or other travel expenses. The grant is not currently available for academic research, though we hope to offer such funds in the future. Applicants are asked to submit a brief description of the project, a writing sample, and a bibliography. For full details on how to apply for the grant, please see the SLF web site: http://www.speclit.org/Grants/SLFTravelGrant.php.
Looks like a nice piece of support for traveling spec fiction writers. I note that your Older Writers Grant drew a lot of applicants and did some real good. Kudos for making this possible, and good luck to applicants.
I’m applying! Either for a story in Belize or a story in Banff, I can’t decide which 😉
