My guest bedroom in Hawaii, possibly the most comfortable room I’ve ever stayed in, in my life. I absolutely adore being able to open all those windows and get a steady cross-breeze. The older I get, the harder time I have regulating my body temperature, so breezes are super-important.
Albatross (endangered and protected, so we’re not supposed to bother them, but they don’t seem to mind photos), little flowers on the cliff path, seal taking a nap (!), the beach chairs where Alex likes to hang out to write. (I’m mostly writing in the house, because it makes me too nervous to take my laptop to the beach, which is fine).
