I came into the con already tired, which isn’t ideal, but I found a decent hack — an Irish coffee midday both perked me up and relaxed sore muscles that had just done a lot of cooking. Better living through chemistry.
(The other drink is Emmanuel‘s — I wasn’t double-fisting them, I swear).
Had a great panel on “20th century SFF, History and Influence” with Phoebe Wagner and Jason Aukerman, who both had really interesting things to say, and since I took photos of my badges, I will now remember to go find them on FB or e-mail and follow up with them. Not sure exactly what I’d want to do with them, but they were both smart and interesting and I’d love to have them involved with the SLF in some way down the line. We’ll see!
