Look! Lots of roots! Success!
So my next question is, when do I transplant these babies? Now? Or do I just put more water in there and let them grow some more roots?
If they’re ready to transplant now, I’m planning to give these away on Thursday (a day when I’ll be working at home all day), so locals, watch for that post in the garden club group if you’re interested. You’d need to pick up Thursday, since I’m going out of town on Friday, and I can’t leave these out in the cold on the porch.
Then I’ll start another batch for my own garden. This could get addictive.
Coleus is so hardy/resourceful, I’ve had success just pinching off springs and sticking them into wet soil.
