You may remember that…

You may remember that last week I finally repotted my tipping-over hibiscus plant? Well, apparently, it prefers being at something other than a 45 degree angle. I did also give it fresh soil and a bit of fertilizer, which may explain why, instead of performing its usual winter regimen of a single bloom every few days, yesterday, it burst out with five at once, in a glorious profusion. It's still a little thin on leaves compared to its outdoor summer lushness, but clearly, it's happier. And so is Kavya -- since hibiscus blooms only last a day anyway, I usually let her pick them, and she gathered three at once yesterday for one of her nefarious schemes. Or an art project. Sometimes it's hard to tell those apart.
