I’m really enjoying…

I'm really enjoying going through A Passage to India chapter by chapter with my students -- there's so much there, so much nuance of race and gender relations, mixed with so much deft observation of human nature and so much humor. I wish I could spend a month on it instead of three classes (which I have now pushed to four because I couldn't bear to cut today's discussion short, ah well...).
