Dinner at Thai Spice, Los Gatos. This has been a staple of mine for 30 years, I think. I love Kevin’s family, but they eat a lot of Italian / American, and there’s usually a point in the trip when I am CRAVING some flavor of Asian food.
Los Gatos has a ton of options along those lines now, but back in the day, this was one of the few options, and it’s still one of the more affordable ones.
Roti with sauce, duck curry — with grapes! I haven’t had grapes in a curry before. Good!
