Accountability post

Accountability post: 20 minutes, 570 words. Short writing time because I’m very tired and my eyes want to close; didn’t get enough sleep last night. Might try to write again later today — we’ll see how the day goes.
He frowned. “I’m sorry you never saw one of the original scrolls – they were so beautiful. The lettering was fine and detailed, and the pages were illustrated with all kinds of creatures. The scrolls all burned, but I was able to get the text down from memory. It’s not much – “

Plan:

  • Run Kavi to school at some point (she also slept badly, and asked if she could go in late today), stop at Walgreens and get Kevin’s meds, stop at Costco and get my meds (and Anand’s, if they have them ready).
  • Go down to the store and redo a bit of the display for January, add some new stock. Sales are EXTREMELY SLOW right now, which I expected, but is still a bit of a bummer. Hoping for it to pick-up for Valentine’s Day. On the plus side, it means there’s no pressure to make new stock quickly.
  • Bring back Christmas stock for Eliana to add to the online shop on sale.
  • SLF meeting @ 12
  • Pack up candle sale orders (by tomorrow if not today).

Hoping to have all that done by 2 or so, might try to take a nap if really tired still. I’m not a good napper, though, may just read in bed.

  • Reward myself for being diligent with Bujold’s new Penric novella that just dropped (Demon Daughter, #12).
  • If I get restless, there are seeds to start, and some fabric I was wanting to try dyeing…

School board meeting this evening, so need to be rested for that if possible, in case it ends up being a 5 hr meeting instead a 2-3 hr meeting…
