We went to WisCon on Thursday, per usual, but I had to skip attending the Guest of Honor readings (by Martha Wells and Rivers Solomon), because I had a school board meeting that night, which I attended via Zoom.
I saved the glass of wine for AFTER the meeting, please note. Sober school board members are better school board members. 
But the Concourse hotel’s French onion soup was nicely fortifying beforehand.
