For the Flat Midwest, It’s Pretty Good

My neighbors have a tree that’s particularly lovely this year. Something about the weather means that we’re having the best tree-color autumn we’ve had in Oak Park since I moved here 13 years ago. It’s truly lovely wandering around town right now.

I mean, it’s no New England on the leaf-peeping front — you need hills for proper leaf-peeping — but for the flat Midwest, it’s pretty good. 🙂
