First day of sophomore year, high school. I set an alarm to make sure I got up in time to get Kavi breakfast, if needed, but she’d already made plans to meet up with friends at a coffeeshop for breakfast, which is even better. She went off smiling and happy; hope every day of school starts just the same this year.
