I’ve been spending my down time sewing scarves from my own designs — almost done with all the ones I have on hand, and about to go on to tea towels.
Here, I’m in my garden, and modeling three purple scarves to coordinate with my newly purple hair:
• Starry Woods scarf in modern jersey
• morningstar sedge (declare your love of natives!) scarf double infinity scarf in poly crepe de chine
• snowdrop varieties scarf in chiffon
Fun! All of this is in preparation for three upcoming in-person events, although I’m also happy to have people order them directly, so if you see something you love, holler, and I’m happy to give you details on pricing, etc.
The first event is May 7th, and I’m hosting it at my house, along with 7 other local women makers, of which I will tell you more shortly. But I’ll just note right now that Mother’s Day is May 8th, so if you’re looking for a present for your mother or your mother-in-law or yourself as a mom, or some other underappreciated mom you know, this would be EXCELLENT place to pick up handmade gifts from small, nay, micro-businesses.
