All in all, a lovely afternoon at Robey House with Kev. As we were leaving, we checked out the rooftop lounge, which is really lovely — it probably was here when we lived in this neighborhood, a decade ago, but we were busy managing an infant back then, and not really in the zone for hanging out in cool rooftop bars with friends.
If you’re in the Wicker Park area, though, I think this would be a fun place to hang out! There’s even a rooftop pool open in the summer! I had no idea.
[Editing to note, per comment below, that the hotel didn’t open until 2016, which makes me feel better.]
